This brave duo is not afraid to venture into new and never-before-seen sonic paths.
An experimental genre, I would say avant-garde, the masterful and refined sound research manages to transport you to another universe that at times is welcoming and at other times it reveals dark and sinister sides.
This album could be compared to Dante’s Divine Comedy. A journey between hell, purgatory, and then heaven. These songs describe the different sensations you can experience while facing that journey.
This music is hypnotic and manages to make you discover the hidden sides of your unconscious, a music that sinuously enters you and manages to speak directly with your soul.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Simmons and Schuster is the debut release from Timothy Simmons and Marc Schuster. The album consists of seven instrumental tracks, largely improvised, that run the gamut from dark and intense to light and airy. What holds them together as a unit is their cinematic quality: the album feels like the soundtrack to a film that has yet to be made and carries distinct echoes of instrumental tracks by the likes of Brian Eno and Pink Floyd.
