our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Simon Andersson. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the atmosphere of his music.
Very nice melodies that hit you as soon as you hit the play button.
Harmonically very engaging music that opens the floodgates of emotions.
A compositional style that winks at a way of creating music of a few years ago but still manages to be modern for a careful choice of instruments and sounds.
The chord progression is never banal and Simon is able to amaze for the ability to insert interesting harmonic variations that are able to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
Very nice production, especially the mix, where every sound element finds the right space in an enviable sound balance.
A great discovery that I absolutely recommend to everyone.

Simon Andersson is a musical powerhouse and an award winning artist. With music influences that span from the early days of rock ’n’ roll to the contemporary music scene, he’s a very talented songwriter and a producer from Malmö, Sweden.
At age eleven, he made his first appearance on national TV and held his first award at age thirteen. After high school he later graduated from Malmo Music Academy and attended the music producer program wanting nothing short of a professional career. This led to him – a few years later in 2013 -walking off the Fonda theater stage in Hollywood as the winner of ”Best Song of The Year”.
