Their version of SiN takes the raw intensity of the original and amplifies it. What was once a slightly restrained, eerie piece from Nine Inch Nails now feels larger than life more explosive and untamed.
Where Reznor’s work often brings to mind the dark, atmospheric tones of Depeche Mode, Nox Pulso steps up the pace, mixing industrial elements with a driving groove and atmospheres akin to The Prodigy. This combination creates a dystopian, futuristic vibe that feels uniquely their own.

Formed in 2021 by childhood friends Matt McIvor (electronics) and Duncan Williams (guitars, vocals), NOX PULSO blends industrial grit, electronic chaos, and metal aggression—what they call the New Wave of Industrial Metal. Inspired by the dark club scenes of Blade, The Crow, and The Matrix, their 2023 debut Songs from the Wastelands led to shows with Raging Speedhorn, Infected Rain, and more.
Recently, they covered SiN for a Nine Inch Nails tribute album, reinterpreting its themes for the digital age. In 2025, they’ll perform at the UK’s Resistanz festival and release their second album, Two, previewed by the single NO EXIT. NOX PULSO continues to push industrial music forward—dark, raw, and wired into the now.
