E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Specific Coast

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Specific Coast. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his melodic sound.

I was immediately fascinated by the sound of this artist. Airy and nostalgic music capable of hypnotizing the listener.

The voice struck me in particular, a warm and very expressive timbre that makes you believe in the words sung in the lyrics.

The chord progression is never predictable and banal and you are transported on a fascinating sonic journey.

Beautiful production and mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.

Frankly, I found no flaws in the music of Specific Coast, a mature artist who has clear ideas on how to propose his musical project to the world.

A fantastic find that I recommend to everyone.

Wasn’t Love is Specific Coast’s Single Out Now!

Nostalgic and Deep!

“Wasn’t Love” is the latest single from Los Angeles based singer-songwriter, Specific Coast. His debut single “Home” found success after a prominent feature in the hit Netflix series, Ginny & Georgia. With over 5k playlist adds, 10k Shazam’s, and his first airplay on BBC Scotland’s The Roddy Hart Show under his belt, Specific Coast returns with his melancholic single, “Wasn’t Love.”

Specific Coast is singer-songwriter, Matt Dunne. Dunne picked up the guitar at the age of 13 and soon after began teaching himself how to sing. Drawing comparisons to bands like The Lumineers and The Head and the Heart, Specific Coast often mixes finger-picking acoustic guitars with heartfelt lyrics.
