E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Spitfire Tides

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Spitfire Tides. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their rocking vibes.

This nice rock sound immediately hit me from the first seconds.

The riff of the guitars is fantastic and is capable of awakening your wildest spirit.

A band that spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.

The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to keep the listener glued to the speakers from first to last second.

An engaging energy, a modern and fresh rock with very fascinating melodic insights.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone also because the production of the song is absolutely professional.

Energetic and Modern!

Spitfire Tides are a four-piece Indie/Alternative-Rock collective melding hard-hitting lyrics, mesmerising melodies, and a propensity for punk-energy.

Formed in January 2020 while studying in their second year at the music university BIMM Bristol, the boys are starting their journey into the big wide world of music. Stemming from Marlborough, Swindon, Southampton, and Chesterfield, these four boys were brought together in the band’s birthplace of Bristol to do one thing: bring people together with their music.

Lead singer, Josh Coates, sings about the real and sometimes darker parts of life in the hope that he can bring the lost and the lonely together. Lead guitarist, Howard Hooper, is their resident hard rock and metal enthusiast bringing the rocking riffs and sizzling solos to your ears. Bass player Callum Houghton and drummer Harry Wise provide a solid rhythm section bringing the whole band together with tight and commanding chemistry.
