Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Static. I discovered this band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I instantly loved the vibes of their songs.
The sounds of Static reminded me of Depeche Mode. Electronic sounds with very appealing melodies.
The predominance of the bass line is very interesting and also the very open and ethereal keys add a special charm to Static’s songs.
The voice with a very particular timbre is immediately recognizable.
The chord progression of the songs is interesting, a continuous crescendo that accompanies the listener in a captivating melodic journey.
I feel the immense Australian landscapes in the music of Static.
A free and dreamy music.
The ideal soundtrack as you travel endless roads in the desert.
