Stay is Pete Asshill’s Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
Pete Asshill’s latest single “Stay” is a daring sonic experience into the realms of psychedelic and avant-garde music.

Stay is Pete Asshill’s Single Out Now

From the moment you hit play, you’re immediately engulfed in a whirlwind of chaotic energy, akin to the frenzy of a riot.

The song’s atmosphere mirrors the tension and urgency of being in a turbulent crowd, with the authoritative voice of the police shouting “Stay” adding a hauntingly real dimension to the experience.

What stands out most about “Stay” is its bold exploration of power dynamics and control.

The lyrics seem to serve as a commentary on the manipulation and indoctrination perpetuated by those in positions of authority.

There’s a palpable sense of rebellion and defiance threaded throughout the track, as if Pete Asshill is urging listeners to question and resist the status quo.

The imagery of being herded like sheep, blindly following orders, is chilling and thought-provoking. We don’t have to hear or see…

One of the most refreshing aspects of Pete Asshill’s music is their unapologetic rejection of mainstream conventions.

They refuse to conform to the commercial pressures of the music industry, allowing them the freedom to express themselves authentically and unabashedly.

Intriguing!

The idea of the song is based on an energetic hard rock drive with a simple guitar riff. The lyrics describe a real-time riot situation. Simplicity is the key word in this song, so both lyrics and music support each other.

The song was composed about 20 years ago in an airplane as a matter of imagination. At that time airplanes had a free bar. The release took a while.

Pete Asshill: 3-4 guys (It depends!) from different countries. They are serious, but also like a bit of dark humour. They are not active on social media, because they think the music itself tells the essential story.
