Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Strange Souvenirs. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the uniqueness of their sound.
As soon as I hit the play button I immediately liked the slightly vintage sound of this band.
The bands that their songs reminded me of are The Beatles, Alice in Chains, and Radiohead.
Certainly beautiful and important influences that in some way contributed to creating such an original and unique sound.
The melodic intuitions are modern and also this helps even more to distinguish the sound of this band that manages to find an enviable balance between past and future.
The production is very good and the mix between the various sound elements very well balanced.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
