Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Sunday Morning. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the nostalgic vibes of their music.
From the first seconds, I was already fascinated by the sound of this band.
A compositional method that winks at the past but manages to be modern at the same time.
The production is very good and the atmosphere that the songs proposed by this band are ethereal, nostalgic, and sweet.
A Twilight music that keeps the smallest nuances under control and manages to thrill the listener with continuous variations. You Stay glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
The voice manages flawlessly to interpret the melodies and lyrics and you are literally captured in the musical world created by the Sunday Morning.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Refined and Twilight!
Since its conception in a small hotel room on Vancouver’s downtown east side Sunday Morning has continuously proven itself as a force in musical innovation. Conceived by veteran Vancouver musician Bruce Wilson Sunday Morning released its first self-titled debut album to widespread critical acclaim including being named “The best album from Vancouver in 2016” by The Georgia Straight.
Collaboration is the cornerstone of Sunday Morning’s success and in the past five years Wilson has worked with a veritable who’s who in the Vancouver music scene including his long time collaborator and friend Stephen Hamm (Slow, The Evaporators), Dave Genn (54-40, Matthew Good), JP Carter (Destroyer) to name just a few. The band’s core currently consists of producer/guitarist Felix Fung (Girlfriends//Boyfriends), bassist Max Sample (The Ballantynes), drummer Shawn Marazek (The Evaporators) and singer and keyboardist Jovana Golubovic (Les Chaussettes).
