Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Bare Minimum. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their irreverent sound.
The “acidic” and energetic sound of this band immediately hit me.
Their way of composing music immediately made me think of Offsprings and also of more modern bands like Fidlar.
In my opinion, however, the compositional style and the construction of the songs look more to the past and frankly, I think this is the right choice.
The music of this band is real and oozes blood from the amplifiers. In an age when music seems made of plastic where everything is entrusted to beats and electronic sounds, finding a band that plays real instruments and where the drops of sweat dry between the strings of the guitars and on the snare of the drums is a breath of fresh air.
The production is perfect for the genre, a little raw but absolutely contagious.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
