Emerging from the Swedish band Redmoon, Arn-Identified Flying Objects Alien Friend launched as a solo project in the summer of 2020, releasing a steady run of singles that led to the 2021 double album 17 Birds at the Summer’s Gate.
In 2022, three new singles followed, including a deeply felt cover of Terry Gilkyson’s Cry of the Wild Goose. The full-length album No Sweets for E. arrived in May 2023, capturing the project’s enduring fascination with Americana and the lingering myth of Elvis.
New material continued to surface throughout 2024 and 2025, including the Orbison-inspired The Crow. A new album, The King and the Sparrow, is set for release in May 2026. While rooted in familiar territory such as power pop and Americana, it also reaches into Swedish folk traditions and signals a broader, more experimental direction for the project.
