Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Garnetts. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their original musical approach.
As soon as I hit the play button I immediately liked this band’s groove.
Light and magic guitar sounds accompany a very unique voice that has a timbre immediately recognizable.
Even the rhythmic section does its duty and the understanding between drums and bass is enviable.
I was struck by the vocal lines and the chord progression that is never taken for granted.
These guys play with rhythm and melodies and always manage to surprise by inserting unexpected variations capable of entertaining the listener from the first to the last second, keeping you glued to the speakers.
A very interesting band with a unique and original approach that takes into account every little nuance and offers to the masses a musical product of all respect.
I also liked the production and the mix that gives the right space to every sound element.

An interesting band that proposes refined music!
The band formed with Ben and Jacob Jones, sons of esteemed Liverpool singer songwriter Phillip Franz Jones of 80’s bands such as ‘Afraid of Mice’ and ‘Up and Running’. The line up was then completed with the addition of Chris Cannon on Bass and Jacob Naylor on Drums.
Straddling the line between Pop, Funk and Rock, The Garnetts pride themselves on their subtle and intelligent songwriting to create catchy songs for the masses.
