I already reviewed The Institutes in the past but they are out with a new single “I Just Can’t Keep Myself From Loving You” and I want to share my thoughts about it.

Another great song from this talented band.
The thing that has always struck me in the music proposed by The Institutes is the captivating and magical melodies accompanied by powerful and sincere sound.
A really interesting “sonic world” capable of modernizing a typical rock of the late 80s.
The guitars are epic and the arrangements take into account every little nuance.
A band that spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to reach such an enviable musical understanding.
The production is excellent and always professional.
A mature band in which I find no faults. Keep them under the radar because these guys have a bright future ahead of them.

This is the INSTITUTES 2nd single for 42’s Records, and it’s taken from their forthcoming debut album ‘Colosseums’ which is set for release later this year.
Vocalist Reid Zappa Currie, on this epic ‘wall of sound’ anthem:
“It’s a song about passionate unconditional love for something or someone, without any choice, no matter what they put you through, no matter what they think of you or what they give in return. Love-Hate relationships, addictions anything that might be a burden of love, a commitment of passion and pain”.
