Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Longest Hall. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their music.
The sound of this band is engaging and powerful, a punk rock that hits you like a punch in the face. Direct and honest music with no strings attached.
How I wish I was in a basement with other people headbanging with The Longest Hall playing. The stench of sweat, armpits, and blood stuns you but at the same time makes you feel free and awakens your most rock and wild spirit.
The thing I liked most about their sound is that they mix and are able to harmonically bring together different genres and besides punk, I have heard elements of hard rock, prog and metal.
A band that spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable sound understanding.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
One Short Ride is The Longest Hall’s Album Out Now!
The Longest Hall is made up of 3 brothers who have been creating art together since before they knew what it was. They write songs inspired by the challenges life brings us all every day. Politics, death, love, and anything else that effects all of our lives. These guys strive to bring a little beauty to the world in the form of fast-paced, in your face, metal inspired punk rock.
