our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to The Rising. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the nostalgic vibes of their music.
From the first notes, I was immediately struck by the singer’s voice, a warm and sensual timbre that made me believe in the words sung in the lyrics.
I was also amazed when the song got the male voice twist and I loved how well these two voices fit together.
The general melody is beautiful and catchy, a chord progression that manages to move the emotions and speak directly to the soul.
Simple harmonies that keep every slightest nuance under control, demonstrating a great compositional maturity.
