Naomi Neva is an indie rock artist from Oakland, CA whose music channels female rage, nostalgia, and the full spectrum of human experience. She’s been writing songs since childhood, cutting her teeth on Indigo Girls and Ani DiFranco covers before forming a punk band with her sisters. For Naomi, songwriting has always been a way to process emotions and connect with others. She returned to music with renewed purpose after the birth of her second child, recording songs during nap times as a declaration: “I exist.” Her latest single, This Is Over, created with an all-female team at Hear Me Roar Studio, is a cathartic release for both artist and listener.
