Good Day Noir Family,

Three Dollar Bill is Friends and Amigos’s Single Out Now

The first thing that struck me about this band is the singer’s voice.

A high and solid tone that distinguishes the sound of Friends and Amigos. A theatrical interpretation accompanied by refined music. The harmonic and rhythmic choices are very interesting and demonstrate extraordinary compositional skills.

You can feel that Friends and Amigos spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve such an enviable musical alchemy.

The thing I like the most about this band is that they have been able to find their own sound that makes them stand out from the crowd.

A band to keep under the radar as these guys produce quality songs.

Three Dollar Bill is an intriguing song with a chord progression that is never obvious and banal.

A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Solid!

Friends and Amigos is a four-piece genre-nonconforming band based in the DMV (Washington DC area). Formerly known as “Gabrielle Zwi and Friends,” the band features singer-songwriter Gabrielle Zwi, guitarist Levi Hebeisen, bassist Avi Ali, and drummer Spencer Marcotte.

Coming out in Pride Month, “Three Dollar Bill” is a fun queer overdramatic heartbreak song, and references the phrase “queer as a three dollar bill,” which originated in the late 1800s. The premise of the song is that you’re more likely to find a $3 bill on the ground than you are to find a girl who’s as invested in the relationship as you are.
