Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Clifford in the past but this talented artist is back with a new single titled Too Big Too Strong and I want to share my opinion about it.
Too Big Too Strong is Clifford’s New Single | Edgar Allan Poets
The evolution of this artist is really interesting.
His compositional style is so unique and interesting that it seems to have no limits.
The new single made me think of Prince, Depeche Mode, and Cameo. A truly intriguing blend of influences.
I thought of Prince because of his vocal interpretation. Some nuances, for some reason, reminded me of the Minneapolis artist.
Clifford is a mature artist who knows music and knows how to make a song. His unique and hypnotic style and his artistic vision are very fascinating.
A sound that is inspired by the past but which is futuristic at the same time. This artist managed to create his musical limbo and it is a very rare thing nowadays.
Absolutely reconfirmed!

Quote: “I wrote “Too Big Too Strong” to represent coming into the light when aspiring towards something.
“My hope with this song is that the listener feels empowered to rise above any challenges they encounter, whether those challenges are derived from within themselves or from others.“
Edgar Allan Poets is a noir rock band built on the literary universe of Edgar Allan Poe.
For over a decade the band has explored Poe's psychology, Gothic aesthetics,
Victorian darkness, and his influence on modern culture — through music, writing,
and this archive. Their album 555 and store collections translate Poe's darkest
visions into sound and design.
