Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Toronto Blessings. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I really liked the energy of their songs.
I was Immediately struck by the energy of this band.
The drummer pushes like a wild horse on the drums followed like a shadow by the bass. The chemistry of the rhythm section is enviable and you can feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to refine their technique.
Very nice guitars sometimes psychedelic as those of Tom Morello.
The voice does its job with its high tone, hysterical and powerful, perfect for this genre.
These guys have inside the positive anger of rock running in their veins, they are not here to joke.
The melodic construction of the songs is great with the right twists and the melody grows well and is able to entertain the listener from the first to the last second keeping you glued to the speakers.
This raw sound is really a breath of fresh air, I would say a “Blessing” 🙂 in a too polite and clean musical landscape.
Bands like Toronto Blessings are key to bringing rock back to the top, where it deserves to be.
