E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Truth & Tragedy

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Truth & Tragedy. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of her music.

This band offers powerful and compelling music.

A modern sound that leaves no way out and awakens your wildest spirit.

The singer push on the vocal cords almost to break them while the guitars with powerful riffs support the songs along with the drums.

The production is excellent, absolutely professional, you feel that these guys are great musicians.

The chord progression is never banal and obvious and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

The mix is also excellent, leaving the right space for each sound element and the songs flow well.

A very interesting album that I recommend to everyone.

Energetic and Powerful!

What happens if you give a German jazz musician and a crusty war veteran a guitar, a mic, and six months of lockdown? A hardcore duo that could knock the socks off a horse.

Truth & Tragedy are a German/US hardcore duo who have recently released their debut album ‘Innocence Abandoned’. Lacing classic hardcore with elements of melodic metal, classic rock, pop-punk and even a little bit of jazz, as well as pulling on old country and outlaw ballads and the singer’s own experiences as a US soldier in Afghanistan, Truth & Tragedy are exploding onto the hardcore scene.

With plenty of insight, stories and humour, the duo are branching out in their first steps to spread the word and get their voices heard since their album release, and would love to get involved! With their debut album available on all streaming platforms, and more music videos and singles on the way, there is a lot to get excited about!
