our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Twobox. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his catchy sound.
The music offered by this artist is very compelling.
The simple melodies but never obvious transport you with them in the sound universe created by this eclectic artist.
A voice with a very particular tone immediately distinguishes, even more, the sound of Twobox.
A well-executed pop rock with harmonic choices that in some passages remind me of bands like Simply Red.
The chord progression manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second with continuous variations and by taking into account every little nuance.
The production is excellent, especially the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and allows to the songs proposed by this eclectic artist to breathe well.
Twobox. seems to have very clear ideas on how to propose his musical project to the masses and he’s doing it wisely.

Twobox. is the musical alias of emerging Preston based producer Nicholas Langdon, who started the project in 2019.
Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of musical styles, Twobox. takes cues from eighties pop and new wave and mixes them with contemporary alt-pop, indie rock and electronic styles to create a unique sound, partly owing to his bass vocal range, which has drawn comparisons with Joy Divisions’s Ian Curtis.Twobox. is about being authentic and vulnerable, particularly when it comes to discussing difficult or intimate moments.
The upcoming single ‘She Says’ is a driving indie rock record which blends an up-tempo, major key feel, with darker, intimate lyrics centring on the events leading up to a break up and culminating, in the chorus, with the moment itself and subsequent fallout.
