Surely we are dealing with highly trained musicians who know music really well.
The first thing that struck me about this band is the modern sounds combined with a compositional style that is inspired by the past. A truly intriguing and epic musical blend that puts AMONG THE MASSES’ music in a limbo of its own…actually makes them stand out from the MASSES.
Utopia is a beautiful song that I would see as a soundtrack to a post-apocalyptic film when the protagonist sees some hope in the future looking at the horizon.
The sounds are sought after and the artistic taste of all the band members and above all of the producer Andreas Ahlenius is highly developed and allows them to always make the best decisions artistically speaking.
Production and performance are impeccable. A band to follow carefully as they produce quality music.

MONG THE MASSES hail from Sweden, embodying its heritage of well-crafted music. Its members bonded over their mutual love of guitar-based bands like Radiohead, Pink Floyd and Television and masters of the darkness: Depeche Mode and The Cure. Their sound also combines elements of new wave, rock, nostalgia and Eighties. The Stockholm-based band’s secret weapon is gold and platinum award winning producer, Andreas Ahlenius (lovingly referred to as the fifth member).
