Edgar Allan Poets – Noir Rock Band | Why Don't is Snakedoctors' Single Out Now
Why Don’t is Snakedoctors’ Single Out Now

Good Day Noir Family,
I already listened to Snakedoctors’ album Waiting but today I want to focus on one track in particular titled Why Don’t.

Why Don’t is Snakedoctors’ Single Out Now

Why Don’t is the most grunge of the album. Sound Garden would definitely like it a lot.

I really liked how the intensity and dynamics are emptied in the verses and then return solid and compact in the choruses.

A hypnotic song that speaks to the depths of the soul. The solo is psychedelic and sinister and the voice is always low, almost spoken. The energy of this tune comes from the music while the voice wants you to focus only on the lyrics.

The video shows a couple who can no longer communicate, a situation we can all relate to. A love that is perhaps about to end.

The story seems to start from the final scene and creates an endless loop which I think works well with the intensity of this song.

Snakedoctors are one hell of a band and their songs kick ass.
