Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Xavier Bernazard. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the vibes of his music.
This eclectic artist offers us modern and refined music.
The things that I liked the most are the chord progression and the harmonic intuitions that manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second and keep you glued to the speakers.
A rock/pop that does not disdain distorted guitars and that pushes a lot in the choruses, creating interesting variations with the verses.
The production is good, the mix in particular leaves the right space for each sound element and the songs flow well.
A very well-conceived Ep, with a unique thread that accompanies you for all the minutes that you enjoy these beautiful songs. More energetic tunes are interspersed with exciting ballads that speak directly to the heart and soul.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

Borinqueño, Xavier Bernazard is a latinx. non-binary indie-pop artist born & raised in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Xavier would describe their music as “emotional & raw exploring themes of reflection, heartbreak, battles with depression, and general angst.”
His first EP “Anastasis”, is out now. The concept of this record plays with the idea of resurrection and reinventing yourself after being brought down by circumstances in life. They hope that their music serves as a “source of inspiration for anyone who feels that their voices are not being heard and that it empowers experimentation with one’s identity.”
