our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Zed, The Dreamer. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his voice a lot.
From the very first notes, I liked the voice of this talented artist.
A warm and sinuous timbre that with a slight hoarse manages to give nostalgic and mysterious nuances to the entire interpretation.
The melodic construction and chord progression of his songs are impeccable and manage to entertain the listener and keep you glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
I closed my eyes while listening to these sweet melodies and I let myself be lulled by the music without asking too many questions.
I believed in the words sung in the lyrics and I went on a wonderful and unexpected sonic journey.

Zed, The Dreamer is the solo project of Portuguese singer-songwriter Zé Pedro Viveiros. Drawing inspiration from Bon Iver, Tallest Man on Earth and Rayland Baxter, Zed pursues a constant path of experimentation and self-discovery.
Through soulful vocals and highly melodic instrumentation, he creates an intimate atmosphere with strong Folk and Indie Roots. His first single “Truth” talks about the isolation that comes from pursuing your dreams. Filled with immersive back-vocals and finger picked acoustic guitars, Zed pours his heart out in a highly emotional vocal delivery.
