E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Acrost

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Acrost. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I was struck by the atmosphere of his songs.

Acrost offers us twilight music, the melodies and sounds of this artist have literally bewitched me.

An interesting sound research and extreme care to every little nuance.

Hypnotic and magical melodies that have the ability to transport you and make you feel in the middle of the forest.

A forest whose beauty you appreciate but in which you also feel alone and afraid because you have to fight metaphysical forces more powerful than you.

The thin line between the physical and the metaphysical is where Acrost’s music lives, a thin veil between being and not being, between what is seen and what is not seen but can only be felt with the senses.

A perfect production for the genre and it’s important to underline how this artist takes care of the graphic part.

The videos, website and pictures are very beautiful and make you understand immediately the vibrations that this artist tries to transfer with his music project.

All very well done, I absolutely recommend this talented and eclectic artist.

Ambergris is Acrost’s Single Out Now!

Magical music capable of bewitching you!

Quote: “The story behind Ambergris is based on some true stories of two really close friends. the first one decided to go to a Shaman after a breakup she couldn’t get through. As she reported, the Shaman said to her things about her past that only she knew. He revealed her future and what would be happening based on the choice she will make.

The other story is of a friend who was in love with a classmate when she was a teenager. She decided to do a Wiccan spell to make him following in love with him, however, this was done without his consent. The spell apparently worked, but based on the Wiccan philosophy everything you do to others (like manipulations), will come back to you 6 times worse. After this love, her life was surrounded by tragic love stories, including the last one where her boyfriend tried to beat her to blood.

Inspired by these true stories, the song talks about a girl who really misses her boyfriend after they broke up. She’s not able to get through this so she decides to do a spell to make him come back.

The magical spell requires the use of a rare object called Ambergris. She was willing to do anything, even the impossible task of finding this object in order to bring her lover back.
The music video represents her before and during the ritual spell and focuses on her mood during these two scenes.

To create a more immersive experience for the audience, people can download a Book Of Shadows (with the story and art the enhance the story of the music video, and a secret video with a tarot reading which was done by the girl before the spell). “.

These are available and downloadable on the website here
