Addison is Zorila’s Ep | Indie Music

The sound of this band is modern, energetic, and catchy.

A very melodic and refined alternative rock that manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.

You immediately feel that these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to reach such an enviable sound understanding.

I really liked the rhythmic cohesion between the bass and the drums that solidly hold the foundations of the songs in place.

The vocal interpretation of the singer is also fascinating. The nuanced vocal tone helps the melody emerge from the mix. Excellent riffs and arrangements of the guitars.

Zorila seems to have a very mature artistic vision and its music is already enjoying great success.

I think this is just the beginning as these guys offer very attractive music for the masses.

Go and listen to them it is worth it!

ZORILA is an indie-rock group based in Chicago, IL. The band began as a sonic collision between musicians, Stewart Arp (vocals, guitar), Henry Arp (bass, vocals), Nate Finn (guitar), and Anthony Hish (Drums).

In their humble beginnings, ZORILA could be found in small bars, county fairs, and house parties in Champaign, IL.

After their 2019 debut release “Sidney”, the band began to grow in popularity and as a result moved to Chicago, IL, and signed a distribution deal with Electric Train Records (The Orchard). As their popularity began to spread, so did the COVID-19 virus, and the band was forced to cancel their tour plans and refocus their efforts.

During the pandemic, ZORILA managed to release two singles, “Wayside” and “Promenade” as well as add two new members David DeAngelis (violin, keys) and Michael Brook (saxophone, keys) to expand their dynamic range and sonic development.

In August of 2022, ZORILA headlined Chicago’s historic Lincoln Hall to debut their newest EP, “Addison”, compiled of four diverse tracks that will sucker punch you in the face and then take you out to a candlelit dinner.
