Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to AI. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and liked their compositional style.
The sound proposed by this duo made me take a backward leap into the past and I immediately thought about Depeche Mode and the first electronic experiments of the late 70s and early 80s.
Surely AI like to experiment because their sound lives in a limbo of its own and manages to make past and modern coexist at the same time.
The new single Parallel Lines is intriguing and hypnotic, the general melody is nostalgic and intense.
The chord progression is never predictable and banal and manages to entertain the listener from the first to the last second with continuous harmonic and melodic twists.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
