The energy released by the music of this band put me in a good mood.

With a fresh and modern compositional style, the rhythm of these songs is pressing and makes you want to dance.

Space is also left for more introspective and intense songs like the beautiful Rearranged.

Wave and Wire are inspired by a way of making music from the past, the early 2000s in my opinion, but their music manages to be modern at the same time.

You can feel that these guys spend a lot of time in the rehearsal room in fact they have achieved a truly enviable musical alchemy.

The production is professional, honestly, I have not found any flaws in this Ep. These songs are impeccable and are placed in a coherent context that manages to immerse the listener in the sound universe created by this band.

Wave and Wire have a developed artistic taste that allows them to compose quality songs. Go and listen to them, it’s worth it!

Wave and Wire is a Montreal based band started in 2017. it’s composed of Lieshbet ( AKA LK ) Kanale Sylva ( guitar & vocal ), Samuel Paquette Daviau ( bass ), Bruno Brechet ( drums ), Krisztina Edvi ( guitar ), Francis Boucher ( keyboard ).

Coming from different countries, different cultures it results in a nice mix of several inspirations and type of music. With a style moving between pure rock and indy rock, the band try to bring listener to different places. A first EP named “Wave and Wire” came up in 2019 followed in 2020 with a second one name “If you knew me”. Continuing to work on new releases in this pandemic world, the band plans to continue to release more surprises!
