Murnau are back with a new single “Baltic Sea” and I want to share my thoughts about it.
This duo is able to amaze and raises the bar everyday more.
In their music, there is everything I like. Free and wild creativity, raw and direct sounds that hit you like a punch in the face. The voice passionately ventures into nostalgic and ethereal melodic lines.
The new single Baltic Sea is a hit in my opinion. A flawless, compositionally speaking, song perfectly executed and produced.
Murnau are certainly one of the most beautiful discoveries that I’ve made this year, these guys have the numbers to do great things.
They have found their style that makes them stand out from the crowd and with careful sound research and an original compositional style they won’t have problems getting noticed by the masses … it’s just a matter of time.

Quote: “This song came together much quicker than the usual Murnau track. Alex wrote a couple of the initial riffs and quickly sent rough recordings to Nick so he could start thinking about the drums. A couple of days later, the full structure with lyrics came together. Alex sent Nick an updated recording and the next week we had a final recording ready to go to mixing. It’s one of those songs that just flows and feels right from the start, which, is rare for us as many of our songs take time to develop and feel happy with the final product”.
