Blackout is Napier Days’ Single

The mysterious twilight atmosphere of this song intrigued me. An intimate and deep sound that has the ability to speak directly to the listener’s soul.

I was also very impressed by the wonderful vocal timbre of Napier Days. A voice that seems to hide a secret, with a hoarse that manages to add the right intensity to the lyrics.

At times, his interpretative style reminded me of Chris Cornell.

Blackout is a beautiful song, a melody that reaches the most hidden parts of your unconscious.

The musical arrangements are modern and well thought out. We are certainly dealing with an artist with great musical experience and a developed artistic taste.

A great find that I recommend to everyone.

Napier Days is my personal musical project that started with the release of 2 singles in 2021 on Soundcloud and later Spotify. If I think about it, it might have started years before with a recording on Myspace that even made it into the platform’s own charts – but at that time under a different artist name.

Since my early youth I have been playing the keyboard, some piano and mainly acoustic and electric guitars. With the bands “Delayed”, “Crushed Ice” and “Non-Fiction Empire” I earned my first spurs in the Berlin music scene. That was wild!

For many years I’ve also been writing my own songs and started recording the best of them (at least what I find best). To this day, I love every day I come in contact with music, whether it’s rehearsals, recording sessions, gigs, or just being a listener. The goal is to write and play music for my own peace of mind – and for those who want to listen.
