E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Cherry Tobacco

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Cherry Tobacco. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and liked their original style.

The sound of this band immediately bewitched me with its mysterious and psychedelic vibes.

Of the new single The Sacred Fire I liked the sound of fire that introduces the song that was able to immediately put me in the right mood.

Cherry Tobacco‘s music in some moments seemed to me as brilliant as Beck’s, these guys are not afraid to experiment and walk along musical paths never walked before.

Their compositional style is really interesting and incorporates ethnic ingredients with a more modern sound.

This music manages to speak directly to the listener’s heart and soul and introduces you to hidden parts of your subconscious.

The production is excellent and in particular, the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.

A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.

The Sacred Fire is Cherry Tobacco’s Single Out Now!

Refined and Magical!

Cherry Tobacco is a cocktail of the bitter and sweet of minimalistic sound. Such genres as post-punk, experimental rock, grunge, or shoegaze might vaguely describe the sound, but cannot encompass it.

We started in 2018 as a duet of drummer and guitarist-vocalist, since we had no money what so ever, we just kept writting songs without thinking of recording them. For beginner bands the only payment is beer in the bar, which seemed reasonable for us at that moment.

Time went by and more musicians joined Cherry Tobacco and now we want to share our music with the world.

We are located in Tallinn, Estonia. We are looking for people, who like sound experiments. Our every release has different musicians, different souls.
