The music of this artist moved me deeply.
We are certainly facing a great talent. Victor Alexeeff’s visionary ability to re-interpret these classics is phenomenal.
The thing I liked the most is that this album is innovative and futuristic. Classical music reaches out to more popular sounds and manages to ‘redeem’ them.
This sound blend is incredibly varied and upsets the conservatism that is generally breathed in the classical world.
Victor Alexeeff’s openness to all kinds of music makes him an innovator. His developed artistic taste and his great technical preparation allowed him to give birth to this masterpiece.
Classics Unleashed must be sipped slowly like a glass of Chianti. With each listening, new magical nuances will emerge.
While listening to these tracks I closed my eyes and let myself be carried away by the music. For a moment I forgot about everyday problems and I felt happy.
A beautiful musical gift that I recommend to everyone!

Classics Unleashed is Victor Alexeeff’s Album Out Now | Edgar Allan Poets
Victor Alexeeff is a prodigy who began studying piano at age four and attended the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, beginning at age seven. Although renowned for his performances of Chopin and Prokofiev, his musical interests are eclectic. Besides working as a concert pianist and session player, he composes scores for film and television, produces original albums, and performs with experimental music groups and rock bands.
Victor began piano studies at the age of four, encouraged by his grandfather. At seven, he entered the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto, Canada, and appeared on his first album, “A Tribute to Walt Disney” at the age of nine. Victor studied with Boris Berlin, Marek Jablonski and Artur Papazian. Throughout his training, he received 33 scholarships and appeared on numerous television and radio programs throughout North America.
While pursuing a fine arts career, Victor took an interest in film scoring. Also, he became involved in the experimental band NRG, which enjoyed great success performing live soundtracks to film classics such as Fritz Lang’s Metropolis and The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. For more than fifteen years, Victor has been creating scores for movies, corporate communications, radio and television commercials, and live business theater presentations.
