Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Colder Suns. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I like the atmosphere created by their music.
The direct and pure sound of this band struck me immediately, a typical English-style alternative rock with no strings attached.
The thing that appeals to me most in the compositional style of this band are the raw and a little acid sounds accompanied by a nostalgic and sweet melody … a really interesting combination in my opinion.
It feels like these guys have spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to reach such an enviable sound understanding.
The chord progression is not obvious and banal and keeps the listener glued to the speakers from the first to the last second.
Colder Suns have something to say and the passion they put into composing their songs is contagious and manages to speak directly to the soul and heart of the listener.
Definitely a band to keep under the radar because they produce very good music.
Chemicals is Colder Suns’ Single Out Now!
