Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Couvo. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and liked the vibes of his music.
The sound of this artist is sparkling and contagious.
His music reminded me of early 90’s movie soundtracks. When boys were getting ready to hang out and the atmosphere in the air was as electrifying as when you go out with a girl you like.
Couvo’s vocal timbre is interesting, a crystalline and clear voice that emerges from the mix and gives the right energy to the song.
The new single Horses & Divorces is a fresh song that puts you in a good mood. The production is excellent and in particular, the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
A nice discovery that I recommend to everyone.
Horses & Divorces is Couvo’ Single Out Now!
Bright-eyed indie-pop newcomer, Couvo (aka Josh Couvares), pits romanticism against realism, while retroactively summing up the well-to-do playpen that is Bushwick. Still, Couvares is determined to age gracefully in an increasingly crestfallen era of draconian politics and disenchantment on his new release, When This All Ends, mixed by Charlie Stavish (Jenny Lewis, Interpol, Weezer) and mastered by Robin Schmidt (The 1975, The Japanese House, Ben Howard).
