I have been following this band for some time and I must say that their music always manages to fascinate me.
The sound blend that they managed to create is always able to speak to my subconscious and makes me fly with my imagination.
While listening to Cut Diamond I imagined I was driving a convertible car. The wind in my hair made me feel free. One of those days when you just want to wander the world and forget the problems and bad choices you have made in the past.
The production is excellent and in particular, the mix leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.
The voice of the singer is always intriguing and sexy and is the icing on the cake to season this beautiful sound.
Go and listen to them, you will be surprised by their creativity.

‘Cut Diamond’ is the 3rd single from emerging Lincolnshire power trio, Scarlet Joy.
It’s the 3rd track to be released from their upcoming debut album ‘Mourning Pages’ which will be out later in the year (2022). ‘Cut Diamond’ is a song about escapism and excess. It’s about looking for love & acceptance in all the wrong places. It’s about making choices the night before, that we regret the morning after.
