The vintage sound proposed by this artist immediately made me fly with my imagination.
While listening to the beautiful melody of the single Dagarna med dig I imagined dancing under the Swedish midnight sun.
I don’t understand the lyrics but the vibrations that this melody transfers are positive. It gave me an energy boost to face the day with the right attitude.
But there are also some nostalgic nuances that in some moments made me think of Bruce Springsteen’s compositional style.
The production is fantastic and the execution is very professional. Hallbeck knows music and is capable of composing beautiful songs that’s for sure.
An artist that I can recommend to everyone as he offers quality music.

Dagarna med dig is Hallbeck’s New Single | Edgar Allan Poets
Hallbeck is a solo artist. Guitar player and singer songwriter. All music on this track is played and recorded by Magnus Sjoqvist, a Sweden based producer.
I toured the world in the nineties with an alternative band. Played in the Soviet Union even as it crumbled. Saw its last desperate dying tremors when we were in St Petersburg, then Leningrad, when the tanks rolled in during the coup attempt against Gorbachev. We played a concert right on Nevskij prospect with cheering people as it all collapsed.
Now, after finding my own voice, I write songs that I hope will touch on all things that make us human. The first single is about finding love. Taking the chance when it comes, even in your middle age. Maybe you have been through a failed marriage, happiness and love are out there for us all if we dare to find them. Dagarna is also about those little moments of happiness in life. Sharing a glass of wine on the porch on a summer night.
