Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Die Kammer. I discovered this Duo while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked their style a lot.
Already from the first seconds I realized that I was in front of great musicians with a lot of experience behind them.
As soon as the singer started singing I thought of Nick Cave, for the low and deep timbre of his voice.
I liked the general sound very much because it creates a nostalgic, dark, and fascinating atmosphere that manages to make you fly with your imagination.
I pictured myself driving a car one of those days when you just want to be alone and wandered through the German countryside while a white mist-covered sun lit up the road.
The production is very good and the obsessive attention to every detail makes this music incredibly hypnotic.
A fantastic find that I recommend to everyone.

Deep and Atmospheric!
Die Kammer is an Indie-Folk duo formed by musicians Marcus Testory and Matthias Ambré.
They perform in different line-ups. As a duo, in a four-piece formation with cello and bass, as well as in a larger orchestral ensemble with viola, violin, cello, tuba, bass and drums.
Their songs tell bizarre and morbid stories that are characterized by melancholy, transience and death, but also of an unwavering joy and lust for life. The narratives often include fine sarcasm and subtle social criticisms, drawing from personal experiences.
