Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed The Bigger Picture in the past but they are out now with a new cool single and I want to share my opinion about it.
This new tune from this band rocks, an epic and powerful sound hits you a punch in the face.
The drums launch the beginning of this energetic ride with a tribal rhythm that introduces distorted guitars that are kept under control at the beginning and then unleashed in the chorus.
The chord progression and rhythmic variations are never predictable and banal and manage to entertain the listener from the first to the last second.
The extra element that this band has is the female voice that blends perfectly with the male voice creating a magical balance… as if the night and the day kissed at sunset.
The Bigger Picture know how to do it, they are good musicians and they compose mature music ready for the masses around the world.
Empires is The Bigger Picture’s Single Out Now!
The Bigger Picture – London-based alternative rock band is out now with their new single ‘Empires’, along with their first music video, directed by upcoming production company, Bohemian Bastards.
The exceptional musicianship and variety of sound displayed by The Bigger Picture so far has been nothing but a stair leading and building up to their most catchy and well-rounded song yet. Dazzling guitars and fiery soundscapes generate a wall of sound so thick and full of details that completely embraces the listener into a brilliant mixture of instruments and refined textures that just turn the song into a proper statement of what The Bigger Picture is.
The lyrics delve into the feeling and struggle of dealing with loss and regret, trying to revive a
weakened awareness that still drives for a brighter status quo, it’s both a fierce cry for help and a hymn for acceptance and recognising a path to follow in order to achieve a better mindset, to build a place within our heads that truly belongs to us, where we can have control and be safe like inside of a mind palace, a mental sovereignty, a personal Empire.
