E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like – Fleck Projector

Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Fleck Projector. I discovered this Artist while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked his songs and musical approach.

I am very pleased with the modernity of the compositional style of this eclectic artist.

Fleck Projector managed to mix and harmoniously bring together very different musical genres.

The vocal effects put this sound closer to EDM but then the powerful distorted guitars take you into rock, while in the verses the arrangement seems almost dance/funky.

A unique and original musical recipe that immediately distinguishes the style of this talented artist. The production is very good and in particular the mix that leaves the right space for each sound element and the song breathes well.

An artist with a clear vision on how to propose his musical project to the masses that I recommend to everyone.

Modern and Magical!

Fleck Projector is the psychedelic, alt-rock music project of Canadian multi-instrumentalist, Jason Pritchett. In the recording studio, Pritchett writes, records, performs, and co-produces all the projects’ music, with the exception of the drums. To connect the last piece of this puzzle, Pritchett hired L.A. based Kellii Scott of Failure (one of Pritchett’s deepest influences) to drum on the album.

At an early age, Pritchett developed a deep love for music. Heavily influenced by the 90’s alt-rock & grunge scene, along with 70’s prog rock, he formed his first band in ’94. He began playing multiple instruments, and quickly took on the role of primary song writer for several of his bands.

Over the past 27 years, Pritchett has shared the stage with many international artists, played sold out festivals, as well as written and released several indie rock albums with former projects.
