Roe Byrne is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter, born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, with influences such as Dermot Kennedy, Hozier, and Novo Amor.
He has big plans for releasing and gigging in 2023 which has been prepped through the very busy leaving cert and college year.
Writing new songs nearly every other day, he hopes that someday his songs will impact people the same way Dermot Kennedy has impacted him.
He is very excited to see what people think of the new unreleased singles as he feels it’s some of the best work he’s made so far.
While busking as much as possible before the leaving cert comes around, he has grown an Instagram following of 11k (and growing) hoping to reach 20k by the end of 2022 while some videos on Facebook videos have reached upwards of 1 million views.
He is very excited to see what people think of the new unreleased singles as they feel it’s some of the best work they’ve put out so far.
“The guys in my band are people I’ve known throughout my whole music career. Chris on drums, and Daniel in bass, used to be in a band with myself and a couple others in a music school called Mezz. That’s really where I found my love for performing and got my first couple of public performances,” Roe Byrne comments.
“Conor Marcus is my best mate in the world and I’m honored that he’s playing for me, especially when a few of the songs I’ll be singing on the night were written with him. I’m absolutely buzzing to be getting back in front of a crowd of people with these lads, they smash it every time.”
Roe Byrne’s band members consist of himself (vocals), Conor Marcus (keyboards), Daniel Monaghan (bass), and Chris McGhee (drums).
Roe Byrne will play his first-ever headline show at
The Sound House –Dublin (Ireland) – on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at 7:30pm with special guest Conor Clinch.
