Golden Hearts is Roots Asylum’s Single

The sound of this band immediately hooked me.

A compositional method that takes its cue from the past but manages to be modern… these types of songs never die because they bring with them true emotions that can speak directly to the heart and soul of the listener.

You can feel that Roots Asylum have a great compositional experience behind them as the quality of the interpretation and the arrangements are fantastic.

Golden Hearts is a delicate and sweet song. Memories allow us to remember people who are no longer with us and this song manages to perfectly describe these deep emotions.

Roots Asylum is a sincere and direct band that truly loves music.

I recommend everyone to go and listen to them, it’s worth it.

Golden Hearts is Roots Asylum’s Single

Roots Asylum is an Americana Rock band from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Their new single “Golden Hearts” tells a wistful story about a lost friendship. The song’s rhythm will keep your toes tapping and the lyrics might make you nostalgic. The song has rhythmic undertones in the style of Roy Orbison (Blue Bayou) and Iz Kamakawiwo’ole (Somewhere Over the Rainbow).

The story starts with the lyric “I know we’re over now” and the sentiment continues through the song. None of us get through life without experiencing the loss of a good friend. This song takes you back to the moments in your life you spent with your friend, the joy and the struggle. It gives the listener something special to recall about that person who is still in our hearts.
