Gone Wrong Rainbow Blues is Otherish’s Album

The music proposed by this band is really interesting.

An innovative and original style that makes them stand out from the crowd.

Psychedelic shades inspired by the past that manage to be modern and futuristic at the same time.

Surely we are dealing with musicians with a great compositional experience behind them, as their songs are solid, and above all their mature artistic vision is evident.

It’s hard to find bands so inclined to experiment and follow musical paths never traveled before.

The refinement of the details and the obsessive attention to every nuance are fantastic. You need to listen to Gone Wrong Rainbow Blues several times in order to appreciate every detail. It should be savored like a glass of aged whiskey…in small sips.

Otherish are a very interesting band that I recommend everyone to go and listen to as they offer quality music.

Innovative and Refined!

Gone Wrong Rainbow Blues is Otherish’s Album

In the darkness of the unknown, where it’s too far to turn back but there’s still no sense of where one might arrive… that is the place where the Belfast-via-Bristol quartet Otherish find themselves after nearly five decades of playing together. Four misfits with three distinct songwriters in their ranks, Otherish can’t even describe their musical bond, but theirs is the unmistakable sound of a band stepping decisively out onto its own limb.

Fans of ‘60s folk and psychedelia, ‘70s prog and classic rock, ‘80s baroque pop, ‘90s alternative, art rock, contemporary indie pop, chamber pop and even avant-garde composition will all hear themselves reflected in the band’s one-of-a-kind approach. Like an author who’s spent a lifetime borrowing books from the library and realizes that their own voice came into fruition somewhere along the line, Otherish have invented their own language, a delightful varied and eccentric musical vocabulary that can only be described in terms of itself.
