I already reviewed Nick Sanzeri in the past but he is out now with a new album and I want to share my opinion about it
Are you ready for a journey into the past?
This music took me back to the 80s when people with bell bottoms and backcombed hair flocked to dance halls.
I felt a bit like Tony Manero in Saturday night fever and I had the irrepressible desire to walk the streets of the city as he did.
Refined, full of nuances and precious musical arrangements. This music is rich in technique, passion and is played by a great musician, what more do you want?
I didn’t find any flaws in this new Nick Sanzeri album, the production is excellent and all the songs have funky, jazz as their theme. I’ve been enchanted and hypnotized to listen to these sinuous phrases like a cobra in front of his teacher.
A very nice work by this great artist.

Leader of Hooked On Sonics for 17 years, a cover band that specialized in corporate, wedding and private events. Nick Sanzeri has played on numerous recordings of other artists including James Young of Styx. Winner of Budweiser “Cutting Heads” bass competition, producer of radio Jingle spots, sub for many Chicago bands.
Currently playing solo as a singing bassist and has a packed schedule of events and is producing and releasing his own original music which is available on all streaming platforms.
