Indeed we are faced with a very intriguing band.

As soon as I hit the play button I found myself in a crepuscular and magical universe.

The melodic line and the interpretative style spoke directly to my soul and heart and stimulated electrical impulses that activated my neurons that filled my eyes with oneiric visions.

Boy Indigo’s music has the ability to hypnotize you. We are certainly dealing with great musicians. These guys spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room to achieve this musical chemistry and to create this unique sound blend.

The single I Can’t Feel Alright is accompanied by a wonderful video that perfectly describes the atmosphere of this song.

An extremely refined band that offers quality music & videos.  A nice discovery that I recommend everyone to go and listen to.

Boy Indigo is a band based out of Sacramento, California. Boy Indigo is equally inspired by, retro soul, psychedelic rock & roll, jazz, and hip hop alike. No genre holds us, no box by which we fit easily into. We won’t be found in any of the usual ways as we are unusual in our musical approach and don’t strive for accessibility or normality. We won’t be heard in your favorite coffee shops, nor will we be found by way of radio on your morning commute. We will, however, be heard at night in headphones alike, in ill-lit bedrooms, on long drives alone, or in the comfort of a lover.

The new single “I Can’t Feel Alright” is a song about the racial strife that existed in the generations that preexisted the current. When learning of the horrors inflicted on my grandfather, I realized that while some things have changed, some have not and I would never feel alright.
