Edgar Allan Poets – Noir Rock Band | Illuminate is Birdeatsbaby's Single
Illuminate is Birdeatsbaby’s Single

Good Day Noir Family,
I already reviewed Birdeatsbaby but they are back with a new single Illuminate and I want to share my opinion about it.

Illuminate is Birdeatsbaby’s Single

The mysterious and crepuscular compositional style of this band is confirmed in this new song.

Birdeatsbaby is here to take you to the depths of the unconscious, to investigate the dark. As Nietzsche said, “If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.”

This “occult” music made me seem to attend a Sabbath.

Illuminate is a tune that creates a peculiar and haunting tension, the video is beautiful and keeps you glued to the screen from the first to the last second.

I really liked the hard rock bridge around 3:35 which brings the song to a high level of emotional intensity.

A song to listen to when it’s raining or snowing outside and when the fog obscures not only the landscape but also your thoughts.

This band has a clear and intense vision and they always manage to produce songs with an ancestral charm.

Absolutely reconfirmed!

Illuminate is Birdeatsbaby’s Single Out Now!

Intense and Haunting!

This year, Halloween marks the release of a new sinister presence in the world – ‘Illuminate’ the second single from Birdeatsbaby’s occult album, ‘HEX’.

Illuminate is a construct of ethereal vocals on a bed of cellos, guitars and complex yet subtle drum patterns. As the song builds, singer Mishkin screams the lyrical mantra as the music explodes into a heavy instrumental before coming in for the final chorus. Accompanying the track is a video which features Mishkin and cellist Hana, locked in a menacing dance of ritual magic.

Birdeatsbaby are a group of multi-instrumentalists that blend elements of rock, metal and cinematic music to create a sound that’s striking and unique. Their previous releases have been produced by Paul Reeve of Muse fame and John Fryer (Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails…). Recently, one of their songs featured in ‘Close to Me’, in the hit Channel 4 thriller starring Connie Nielson and Christopher Eccleston.
