I have been immediately fascinated by the beautiful voice of this artist.

While listening to Last Child I was literally hypnotized as when Ulysses heard for the first time the chant of the mermaids during his Odyssey.

Taylor B-W is a solid and mature artist. Her music sounds like the songs that dominate the charts around the world.

This artist is already achieving some success but I believe that we are only at the beginning as she offers music of an absolute quality that will allow her to be very successful in the future.

Last Child is impeccably produced. The interpretation and musical performances are of the highest quality.

In some moments Taylor B-W’s vocal timbre reminded me of a blend between Adele and Anggun.

I’m sure we’ll hear a lot about her as this artist has a bright future ahead of her.

Constantly performing energetic shows on stages around Sydney, either acoustically or with her band (selling out The Vanguard, Street Market and Django Bar), B-W is beginning to make a name for herself in the indie scene. She rediscovered her passion for music after initially pursuing an acting career. After developing health issues due to the pressure of such a career, she also switched her attention to wildlife conservation, becoming a qualified zookeeper at Sydney’s Taronga Training Institute, and is still involved in her generation’s climate change activism.

Taylor B-W’s songs are capsules of her mind and her past, clearing out the cobwebs. She delves into common issues that her generation deals with daily: depression and anxiety, financial instability, destructive relationships and heartbreak, loneliness in a digital world, body dysmorphia, eco-anxiety, and the yearning for inner peace. B-W is simply on a soul-searching quest to heal the cracks in her relationship with herself and those around her: “I guess, I’m always just trying to make sense of it all.” However, although her songs are very reflective, with a sombre and moody undertone, don’t be fooled. B-W’s music offers hope and resilience through hardship – she wants her songs to empower the underdogs (a concept she relates to well) and hope they know that someone is always there for them.
