There is always time to make music and this artist teaches us that… at the age of seventy, he decided to make his first single.
This is the magic of music, today each of us can make our dreams come true as you can record at home without spending a lot of money in the studio.
This democratization that the music world has undergone in recent years is perhaps the best thing that has ever happened.
Wild and instinctive musical projects like LAREDO’S BAG are the ones I like the most. This artist does not follow commercial rules, he just follows the instinct that pushed him to realize a dream. I am proud to share his vision.
We are certainly dealing with a very ironic artist. When, to get to know him better, not knowing if he was a band or a songwriter, he was asked:
How and where did you get together?
The brilliant answer was:
I’VE BEEN PRETTY TOGETHER MOST OF MY LIFE.
and then:
Were there any notable or amusing happenings surrounding the recording/production of the EP? As above, list whatever might be of relevance.
He answered:
I HAVE TO RECORD VOCALS WHEN THE DOGS AREN’T BARKING AND THE PARROT ISN’T SCREAMING.
This is real music, the ancestral expression of human instinct and passions.
LAST NIGHT is a good song and I hope LAREDO’S BAG will do many more in the future. I’m curious to see what his eclectic mind will be able to conceive.
