The fresh and vintage style proposed by this band immediately put me in a good mood.

For a moment I felt like Fonzie when he was chasing girls in Happy Days Tv series.

These songs have the ability to free your head from bad thoughts.

I really liked how the French language sounds in an alternative rock genre like the one offered by Candiac. We are all used to listening to the musicality of this language in the songs of Édith Piaf but I must say that it also works well for the music of this band…what do you think?

The vocal interpretation is passionate and the musical execution absolutely flawless. All the songs are solid, the harmonic progression is well thought out and the album follows a coherent thread.

A band with a clear artistic vision that I recommend everyone to go and listen to.

Candiac is a new musical trio (Simon Dechêne, Yoland Houle & Charlé) led by Charlé, a singer-songwriter from the town of the same name. Far from staying in one style, the idea is to explore, without getting lost. The melodies are catchy, the lyrics are consistent and include a good share of self-mockery and references to the worldaround us. A vintage touch brings to the project an irresistible charm with a side of surf-rock, candy-pop, indie, garage-rock, even punk! For this first opus, we enter in a rather joyful and festive musical universe.
