Good Day Noir Family,
our “E.A.Poets Approved/Bands We Like” section is dedicated to Lombardy. I discovered this Band while shuffling songs on Spotify and I liked the energy of their music.
The music proposed by this band is very cool a rock sound, modern and rough, as I like.
A voice with a timbre immediately recognizable, warm, and effective that immediately distinguishes the music of these guys.
Even the overdrive effects used to emphasize the vocal line in certain points of the song is a very modern artistic choice.
The chord progression and the harmonic construction of the songs are very interesting and with continuous variations, it manages to keep the listener glued from the first to the last second.
I also really liked the guitars, aggressive to the right point, and the rhythm section that pushes the song in a precise and powerful way.
A band that has spent a lot of time in the rehearsal room and you can feel it because these guys sound very close-knit.
A very talented band that I absolutely recommend.
Don’t wanna see you round here is Lombardy’s Single Out Now!
A modern band ready for the big stages!
Drawing from a wide spectrum of influences for the track, Plevyak’s melodic mastery on vocals and clever lyricism (“You’re a stormy cloud, you’re rolling in low, wrapped around me like you’re drowning me out again”), hand-in-hand with Scott’s snarling guitar playing offer a sound reminiscent of the best of modern alternative and hard rock music, such as Cage the Elephant, The Black Keys, and Foo Fighters
